HBCU is providing positive and inspirational imagery for todays youth. In a culture obsessed with brand names, where young people are getting their validation from "who's" clothing they're wearing, and how popular it is. Secondly, it's family-oriented and thirdly, it sends a message of empowerment. What impressed me most about them is that they are funloving and loving. They are concerned about people's feelings and they totally believe in education. That you achieve whatever you put your mind to do. That nothing is impossible. Both my brother and his wife are graduates of Morgan State University. They are expecting thier first child so I searched the internet for the perfect Morgan State t-shirt for the baby. HBCU kidz had the perfect item! The package not only came in a timely manner, but was beautifully presented. HBCU kidz is led by one of the most kind hearted women I've ever had the pleasure to meet! She is passionate about furthering the advancement of Black Colleges and Universities as well as enlightening Black children about college education. Her products are the best, especially her baskets!
My children wore their Hampton University t-shirts to school starting a competitive frenzy of sorts. I noticed that no other children were wearing college paraphenalia until we started the trend. Thank you HBCU kidz for helping us to represent HBCUs in an environment which has no sense of OUR heritage and culture. All the best to you in your endeavors.
I am an OB/GYN in Central Florida. I attended an HBCU and so did my patient and her husband. After I delivered their baby girl, I went to HBCU Kidz Inc. for a congratulatory gift.
