The driveway to my house is long and extremely steep which makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to go up if there is even a little snow on it. At times, it has actually gotten dangerous when I have gotten part of the way up, couldn't go any further, and then have had to try and control the car as I very slowly tried to back it down the driveway. As I am a physician, I really need to be able to get to/from work and during prior winters, I would routinely be very worried on the way home, not knowing what problems I was going to encounter once I got to the driveway. However, since Rob took over the plowing responsibilities, that worry has totally disappeared. He took the effort to find just the right melting product to use and has been very responsive to my e-mails letting him know when I needed to leave or would be coming home. In fact, on the day of the recent blizzard, I e-mailed him to let him know that I would need to leave for work early the following morning. He and his staff not only came that night at 9:00 PM after it had finally stopped snowing, but they also came back at 4:30 AM the following morning to make sure that the hill was clear. Why do we love Rob Paton?? We met Rob after I was at my friend's house and commented on her beautiful landscaping. She gave me Rob's number and we met him a few days later. We immediately loved Rob not only for his incredible knowledge and passion for landscape design but also because he is sincerely a great guy, who really listens to his clients wants and needs. After spending countless hours creating the perfect landscape that fit, not only our house, but our budget as well, Rob came up with EXACTLY what we envisioned. I can't tell you the happiness we have when we come up our driveway or sit in our backyard and see our vision realized!!!!!My weekly lawn maintenence is also cared for by Rob Paton. I've been in Norwood for about 13 years. During the first 8 or so, I probably went through 5-6 landscapers. They either over-promised and under-delivered... or they simply were not communicative. I'm pleased to say that Rob Paton Landscaping stands out from the others. Rob takes an active and personal role in his business. He is passionate about what he does and very eager to please. In the five or six years that he's worked for me, I've found him professional, detail oriented and a honest businessman. We wanted to improve the appearance of our side yard and also replace the old retaining wall in the driveway. Rob Paton Landscaping did a beautiful job on all the work! We even decided to add a row of evergreens across the backyard for privacy. The computer images of how the completed job would look made it so much easier to visualize what we wanted. The stone work was done meticulously and we were very pleased with the final results. We enjoy the new plantings every time we sit outside on our deck. I have been using Rob since 2002, when I moved into my new house in Northvale, NJ. He helped by cleaning up the 'jungle' of overgrown plantings, and trimming them back to clean up our yard in the first few weeks/months. He has then worked with me to constantly improve our yard. The Block wall and Brick Paver patio work that Rob Paton as his crew performed was truly excellent workmanship. Not only did he use an absolutely beautiful stone but corrected a very serious water problem we had by installing a drainage system. We called him in a second time to add another level to the wall and the outcome was exactly the same as the first job. We have just about finished our complete home renovation and are calling Rob back in to Re-Landscape our front property. Rob and his people are doing a great job all year around. Rob is always there to personally supervise the job. This sets him apart from all the other landsacpers we've used over the years.
Part of my front lawn wasn't being watered, possibly because some recent drainage work on my property resulted in the pipe that supplies that in-ground sprinkler head being broken. Mr. Paton was able to locate the broken pipe, fix it, and leave my lawn in great shape. I was, and continue to be, very pleased with his work.
Robert Paton has taken care of my garden for 3 years, and his men come as scheduled and do a good job of keeping the lawn nice and the garden clean. Also Rob will come, when called, within a short time to discuss any matter that needs attention. He also pays attention to the sprinkling system and has adjusted mine so it is more efficient.
