Going to the dentist is never what I would call a pleasure, but the people from the receptionists to all the dental proffessionals are very kind and curtious. The atmosphere is relaxing and I never feel that anyone is rushing through the work. Rather I feel that everyone's concern is that I receive the best care they can offer.

This visit was more than I expected. Receptionist was very helpful with all the forms that I had to fill out. The dental hygenist thoroughly inspected my teeth. The service is really good. At my first visit i recieved very satisfactory service, which made me come back to Russo Dental care. Everybody is very nice. Even when iam getting my treatment i feel very comfortable. I will definately recommend this facility to others.
The staff are very friendly, curtios and professional. I am very pleased with Dr.Russo and his team. I do not like the dentist very much, but they make the experience as painless and friendly as possible. I recommend them to all my friends.
I was recommended to the dental office by my husband. However my experience was not as complimentary as his. I have been on three occasions and been kept waiting for 40 minutes, 30 minutes on two of the visits, (on one visit I was only kept waiting 5 minutes which is acceptable), no apology was forthcoming from the assistant performing the services. I also found the doctor abrasive and his 'bedside manner' was not what I would expect of someone who stands to earn a large amount of money from a patient. I have had no time to seek an alternative dental practice but if there is no improvement in time keeping and patient TLC I will not be returning. I chose Russo Dental care based on two referals from family members (former patients). I was pleasantly surprised that I did not experience any pain during my cleaning or check up. I am very happy with the hygenist. I've gone every six months for many years, and many times I have not been satisfied with the teeth cleaning. People do not like to hear the bad news the dentist has to give, but Dr.Russo is an upfront, nice dentist. I have heard good things about his dentistry. Many people don't take care of their teeth when they are up in years, and end up with false ones. I think it's important no matter what age a person is to keep our own teeth. Around 1989, I had a terrible looking smile. I had several different caps, none of which matched in size or color to my original teeth. I even had orthodontics but my teeth did not stay straight. i saw dr russo's ad in the san mateo daily times, and since i was looking for a dentist at the time, i decided to give them a call the lady who answered the phone, kimberly, was professional, frienldy and helpful. She gave me an appt for 3 weeks later, but said she will call me if anyting opens up sooner. 2 days later she did, saying a slot opened up the next day, i decided take it and here I am at the doctor's office when I entered the office, i was impressed by how clean and organized the office looked. I liked the place right away. the lady who worked on me first, Ann, was friendly, conversational, helpful and most important non-judgmental. i say this becoz i havent seen a dentist in 3 years. sometimes people hold it against and start lecturing you on the importance of seeing dentists/doctors on a regular basis. HELLO! that is why i am here, stop judging me and start HELPING me!! My husband and I had been trying to schedule an appointment together for almost a whole year at our regular dentist with no luck. This has been the most satisfactory dental/oral hygiene experience I've ever had. 1) The Facility: The atmosphere is totally professional but is also uptempo and friendly -- clean, attractive, cheerful facility, nice music, etc. PLUS, a great location: it is easy to get to via personal or public transportation, ample free parking in back of the building, etc. 2) Staff and Service: In general, staff members were well informed and personable. In particular, the dental hygiene/cleaning process found and eliminated some areas of tartar which were missed by all previous exams, which I was able to verify by flossing. 3) Visual aids: Brochures and videos are more effective for me than just verbal info. The brochures were well organized; the number of videos available was comprehensive. 4) I saw an ad in the local newspaper. (I have lived in Northern California for over 40 years. In the past I tried referrals; 'throwing darts at the yellow pages' [ :-) ]; tried 1-800 dentist, etc.) 5) Dr. Russo inspired confidence, and was able to do so while being personable -- a nice and 'refreshing' balance... 6) Good job, you'all... I have found Dr. Russo's staff to be professional, compassionate, warm & friendly and above all caring of their patients, which is sorely missing in our "get them in and get them out world of McHealthcare." Russo dental care has proved to be the best dental care office I have had to date. I took advantage of a coupon for a teeth whitening in the local newspaper.I was given an appointment by a very friendly young lady on the phone,upon arrival I entered a very upscale and clean office.I was seen by Dr. Russo and he explained by exam results fully. I needed a bit of work, which was no surprise as I was so disenchanted with my previous dentist I quit going. I was given an estimate of my costs after my insurance coverage.My work came out great!! My experience at Russo Dental Care was excellent. I felt so relaxed during a root canal I fell asleep in the chair and thats without gas. Before I knew it we were done and the whole experience was painless.
Upon Dr. Russo's recommendation, I had orthodontia for realigning upper and lower teeth. After this was accomplished, Dr. Russo provided great dental aesthetic services by capping and shaping a number of my upper teeth. At 66, not only were my teeth crooked, the enamel was quite yellow. Now I have a nice very natural looking smile that makes me feel younger and look better. Along the way, I had treatment for my gums (successful) and Dr. Russo also repaired a number of crowns that needed replacing. My teeth are now so much easier to floss and keep clean. Russo Dental care is very clean and looks very modern. One of the best offices I have seen. The staff is friendly also. The person who cleans my teeth (forgive me, I don't recall his name) does a very good job and also makes sure I am at ease (which is VERY important to me). I still don't like going to the dentist, not that many people do, but I like how people here try to make it more comfortable. A couple of things I didn't or don't like: - The first time I was here it seemed like the time with the doctor was rushed. I like to feel that me being here is important, not only to me but to the person I am seeing. - When I recieve a "reminder call" I don't want to have to call back and confirm my appointment for the next day. it was truly a pleasure being drilled on by Dr Russo and his wonderful staff, the shots were painless and so was the crown, the resin fillings that replaced my old silver fillings made by smile look 100% better. I live in Napa and work in San Francisco and yet every six months I come to Russo Dental in San Bruno for my dental work. It is woth the drive! They offer superior services and take care of their customers. I just hope that my next job doesn't take me to Los Angeles, or I will have to take the plane to visit Dr. Russo.

I didn't have possitive experiences with dentists as a child. Nor did previous dentists help or sucessfully encourage me to change old habits of oral care... I am very happy with Dr. Russo's office, I liked the way that all the staff treat me and so that is why my husband is also coming here, I like the office since the first visit, that also attracted me, so I feel like an important person that is how this office made me feel. I would highly recommend Russo Dental Care to anyone needing dental treatment. I learned about them through a newspaper advertisement for a special offer for teeth whitening. This offer gave me the teeth cleaning I already needed, plus x-rays, an exam, and the teeth whiten trays. It was simple and only took about an hour. I came to Russo Dental due to recieving a coupon for a free whitening with cleaning. During my visit Dr. Russo asked if there was anything about my teeth or smile that didn't like and said that the things I mentioned were fixable. I've always wished for a straiter smile and once I could afford it I decided to return to Dr. Russo for treatment. I've never felt more comfortable with any dentist and I could tell he had enthusiasm for cosmetic work and would be a good choice for this type of procedure. Afterwards, I read the whole advertisement and was impressed by the all that was offered to first time patients. The initial phone call I made to the office was prompt and I was offered an appointment the next day. Service - All the employees that I have met here at the office have been very professional and smiled alot.
